Pride and Prominence of the Four Way Test

As Rotarians we are all familiar with the Four Way Test, but here in Quezon City it is given a much more prominent role. Naturally it is on the banner outside the Rotary Centre, but it also appears on posters beside main roads, on the walls of schools, in community centres, and even on the back of this wagon we spotted.

Every Club meeting starts with the President asking the members "Of the things we think, say and do, is it the Truth?" and we all reply "I am a Rotarian and I will tell the truth", "I am a Rotarian and I will be fair to all concerned" etc....

Indeed a proud moment reaffirming our cornerstones of Rotary!

Totoy knows the Rotary Name

During a visit to Lake Taal the RC of Midtown Quezon City handed out slippers (flipflops) to the people living on the slopes of the volcano. Totoy (the familiar name for the youngest boy in a family) shown in this photograph said "Miss, you Rotary?" to the Team Leader. For a 2 year old to recognise Rotarians is an amazing testament to how well known the Rotarians are as they work to support their communities.
